The Chamber of Renewable Energies and Ecology of Monaco was created in January 2012 (see publication in the Official Journal of January 16, 2012).
The Chamber brings together companies involved in the production of electricity through the installation of power plants using Renewable Energy techniques such as photovoltaic, wind, hydro and biomass.
It also represents companies that have, through their technological added value, an important part of their activity in sustainable development, energy saving and ecology such as soft mobility and electric vehicles, water treatment and ecological material concepts for the habitat.
These are all assets that can contribute to the energy and ecological transition.
Our objective is to offer Monegasque companies in the sector, as well as the Principality of Monaco, the opportunity and capacity to maintain know-how and a cohesive projection on the energy and sustainable development markets, including abroad.
Indeed, the addition of the specialities of each of the companies making up the Chamber enables us to provide a global service capable of responding with strength and adaptability to a wide range of demands.
In addition, the permanent watch exercised by the entities of CEREM allows to probe in real time the technological advances and the changes of the markets. The actions undertaken by CEREM are geared towards promoting the energy and environmental sector.
Operations as diverse as trips to foreign countries seeking renewable and ecological solutions are conducted as well as meetings with R&D platforms of industrial groups are initiated within the framework of pilot projects.
This choice is the will to be a tool at the service of the private and public sectors in order to promote and make operational as of now the energy and ecological solutions of tomorrow.
CEREM has notably directed its innovation approach in the support and accompaniment of the artificial islands project by sharing content on autonomy and ecological optimization solutions capable of providing the most efficient answers to the realization of these totally independent territories.
To do so, the sharing of institutional links such as academic, industrial, state and supra-state will facilitate the recognition of this maritime territorial innovation.
